T-55 with BTU-55 The dozer blade was first saw used in WWII American & British tank. After WWII, the Russian developed their famous dozer blade “BTU-55” and widely fitted with T-54/55 tanks. The device on the front of the BTU-55 Dozer blade is a depth regulator to prevent the blade from digging in excessively and stopping the tank.
