The Ruffneck is your new high-performance crawler that features a twin rail carbon-fibre LCG (Low Centre of Gravity) chassis design with lightweight 6/4 counter-weight radio positioning of electronics for a super capable crawler. Featuring the Hobbywing 30A 2200kv All-in-One FOC Power System, this unit provides unparalleled low-speed torque, linearity and smoothness. The integrated design of motor and ESC reduces volume and weight for a simpler and cleaner chassis layout.
CNC aluminium chassis parts come as standard on the Ruffneck, with front and rear axles, motor plate, lower centre chassis plate and steering hubs all machined to the highest quality. Steel front CVA driveshafts and centre driveshafts handle the torque from the reduction drive transmission which features metal gears and steel reduction shaft with a final drive ratio of 37:1 for those steep, slow inclines.
An Etronix 15kg metal geared steering servo is mounted to a brass SOA (Servo Over Axle) mounting plate, matched up with a metal servo horn. Threaded, adjustable aluminium shock absorbers wrap things up before the detailed, semi-scale truck body is mounted via hidden mounts. Super tacky lug tyres provide traction in the worst conditions.
