To solve the weak armor protection problem,desinger do sereral works to improve the armor protection, after improvement,the armor of KV-1,s turret reachs about 75mm thick. German also do some improvements on seized KV-1,including installation of 75mm L/43 main gun ,installation of standard german command capula. All painted deep sand yellow or tri-color camoflage.
