This is the latest release in the popular Tamiya-Italeri series, and
recreates the Semovente M42 da75/34. Like other products in the series,
it updates its subject - the M42 da75/34 (short barrel) which is the
original Italeri kit released around 2020. It has a new, exclusive long
barrel gun, plus Tamiya figures, decals and instruction manual, all
packaged in a new Tamiya box! The Semovente M42 was the model developed
as the updated
version of the Semovente M40, which was used as an
Italian self-propelled gun in North Africa. After the Italian Army laid
down their arms in September 1943, the German Army requisitioned this
tank for their Infantry Divisions.
About the model
• This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 160mm, width: 64mm, height: 51mm.
• Features belt-type tracks molded in elastomer.
• Accurately captures the powerful form with the long barrel L/34 7.5cm gun.

Fighting compartment interior is recreated in detail, with the
transmission case, drive shaft, shell rack, radio, main gun breech,
sighting device, etc.
• Choice of open or closed hatches.
• Comes
with three full body figures (commander, gunner, and loader) and one
torso driver figure in realistic pose (previously included in Item
35364), new instruction manual and 2 marking options for the German Army
71st Infantry Division in Italy.
